A short time playing badminton

Hi! I'm back to post about playing badminton with my dad. We suddenly decided to play badminton as it has been a long time since we last played together. Also to add, I always lost to him. So, this time I wanted to see if I could win him in the match. After he came back from work, he ate and rested for half an hour before leaving the house. We arrived at the badminton court at about 9pm. We only played for half an hour because the next day was a schooling day. During the match, I saw his weakness and started taking advantage. Unfortunately, I was too late to catch up with him as he was winning me with a score of 17-9. So, I just played normally, trying not to use up a lot of energy as I wanted to use it for the next match. My dad then won that game and I was not satisfied at all. I still had one more game and I needed to win that one. I started off not too bad and was leading with a score of 16-11. Soon, it became 18 all. I panicked. I mustered all my energy and tried my best in the next 3 points. I was then so happy because I won that game which was quite a difficult one. The set score was then 1-1. We had the final match to play and that will determine who is the overall winner. We led a tough game until my father became tired of my smashes and he started losing. I then took advantage again and won that game. I was very satisfied and happy. Even though I won, I really appreciated father to come and play with me. I hope that we can strengthen our relationship in that way! I also hope that we could play badminton more often! Thank you.

Tests!

Hi! I am now trying my best to update my blog daily as you know that my blog's title is about my daily life. (: Anyways, today i just had 2 tests. 1 on informal letter writing which I think its not that easy and my maths which I think that I would do well. I am overall happy because I did not have much difficulties when doing both my tests. Other than that, I would like to tell all of you that I really LOVE my class! Our so called motto is " One for All, All for One". I am very grateful to have helpful friends and a class with a good fighting spirit in whatever we do. I hope that our class spirit will be alive forever and also that we will progress and achieve our dreams together. Thank you!

About Today

Hi! It has been quite a while since I last updated my blog. I always keep on forgetting and I don't know why. Sorry. (: So, the topic that I want to share with you know is about today's PE. I have been continuously playing floorball each session during PE. I don't know why but I just got to know that I kind of like playing that sport as I love playing games which involves TEAMWORK. I started playing it since the time when I saw a group of secondary two boys playing. They were dead GOOD. I became interested since then. Now, my class is going to organize a inter-class floorball competition for the lower secondary students. I am looking forward to it! Ok, now back to my story. During PE lesson just now, I made a team of five: 2 boys and 3 girls so that it will be fair for everyone else. My team totally dominated every group except for the last one. It was a great match and I really enjoyed it very much! They were good and at the same time not so rough too. I dislike people who gets irritated because they lost. Anyway it is just a game! This group was much different then what i thought.  They were from another class and i guess that's what makes it so different then other groups. After the match, I asked a boy who was in that group if he had floorball lessons before and he said yes. I was then like " Oh, you had floorball lessons before?". Haha. But, i enjoyed my PE lesson overall including my teacher as he will crack jokes in between. I hope that my interest in other sports will grow and not stick to only one sport. Thank you!

An Adventure

Hi again everyone! It have been quite a while since I last blogged. It was because of the homework that is given everyday. Haha. So, today I'm going to share with you about my first time volunteering to help by taking care of dogs at the centre near Lim Chu Kang Road. It's called the "Pet Dog Kennel" i guess. Anyways, it was such an enjoyable experience for me too so that I will be mentally prepared for my trip to the Elephant Nature Park as it should be as tough as this or tougher. It was very fun to observe how the puppies and dogs interact with each other. At times, they tend to play around trying to bite on our pants/shorts. I went there with my cousin and sister. We prepared so much food but we did eat a single thing at all. Now, let me tell you more about the place. It has been owned by someone for sometime also. It takes in dogs that are all stray ones or the ones that have some problems. When we first arrived there, I was so grumpy and sticky because the long walk from the bus-stop to the centre was so HOT! We totally craved for many things on our way there. Ok, so when we reached there, we cooled down but I did not know how we did it because there was no fan at all. A woman then took us for a mini tour just around the kennels which I got to see many different kind of dogs. There were so ADORABLE! After the instructions were given to us, we first went to the section where all the puppies stay at. Most of them were stray ones but were friendly towards us. I felt so happy and satisfied! I just stayed with the puppies while my cousin and my sister went to the other sections and played with the other dogs. I wanted to but I had phobia of them. So, after an hour of playing with the dogs and puppies, we were given a task to paint the fences that were rusty. We met a group of volunteers happily helping too! We wore the "durian" gloves and took a piece of cloth. The paint was in a container and we were supposed to dip the cloth in it and paint. The painting was so boring and tiring. Luckily halfway through painting the fences, MacDonalds came to our rescue even though we had paint on our fingers. It was ok. After that, we resumed again and finished off at about 4pm. We washed up and were ready to go back home. Thankfully, my cousin's friend gave us a lift which we quickly agreed to it. He dropped us at the Clementi Mrt station. We then decided to give ourselves a little treat for our hard work. After we were SUPER satisfied, we took a train back to my cousin's house to bath  and get rid of the germs. We reached her place at about 8pm and immediately my sister went first. It was then 11pm and we finished resting and watched a movie, Monsters Inc. She then sent us back home and I was so relieved to be back home again. Ok, I guess maybe the next post is going to be on the trip to Thailand with my sister. Thank you and home sweet home

NAPFA Test

Hey everyone! I'm back to tell you guys about the latest news in my school. I recently had my NAPFA test which I had not prepared myself but it was not that bad though. After school, I went back home to bath and get my PE shirt. The test was at 3pm and everyone was supposed to be there early but here I was at home still bathing! OMG. I quickly rushed out of my house without bringing my water. I reached school at 2.45pm and walked slowly to the Indoor Sports Hall where the test will be conducted. I was very afraid that I wouldn't pass or rather get an A for my 5 stations. The test then started after some stretching. My class was one of the few classes that were supposed to do first. I was like SHIT! So, we were assigned to the standing broad jump first which I also wasn't good at it! Just my luck. I got 171. Second station was the sit and reach but that I was not too bad. I got 39 which was an A! Yay. So far the first one. Third station was the sit-ups and I was good at it! Don't think that I'm boasting because I am good at it. Haha. Kidding. I did 45 which was more than an A. Fourth station was the shuttle run. As you know, I am not good at running but this time I almost gotten an A! I ran and got 10.6. The last station was the inclined pull-up. The weather was VERY hot at that time and I couldn't do much. So, I just aimed for an A but not more that as I think anyone would get blisters on their palms. I did 28. Later, I found out that my friend had done 62 pull ups which I personally thought it was amazing! Surely his palms were scorching hot! HAHA! OK everyone, so that was what happened during my test. Thank you and comment! =))
